I have a warm, relational and honest style, and value each person as their own unique self –with physical, emotional, spiritual and relational parts. Each person has their own story, and there is no one size fits all approach when it comes to therapy and healing. As the founder of 3Cempowerment, I value a Spirit-centered, strength base and solution focus therapy. I rely heavily upon my clinical pastoral education whereas I meet the client where they are offering an empathetic presense, listening ear. To assist in identifying deep rooted matters of concern and began establish a health and positive copying mechanisms.

As a therapist who specializes in whole-person wellness, trauma recovery, & perinatal mental health, I enjoy working with women & men who have experienced anxiety, depression, major life transitions, and/or trauma. I am a certified clinical trauma specialist with advanced training in the area of sexual trauma. I am also a certified perinatal mental health specialist through Postpartum Support International, & I am especially passionate about birth trauma and navigating the perinatal journey as a survivor of previous trauma. I am a firm believer that we all make sense in the context of what we've walked through.

The relief that comes with being seen and heard is so necessary for healing and moving forward in life. I respect the courage and vulnerability it takes to lean into a discovery process about yourself. I encourage you to be honest and approach your counseling experience with curiosity. My counseling style is warm, encouraging, honest, respectful, with a dash of humor. I want to help empower you in reaching your goals, and to better understand yourself and your world. It is humbling to see people encounter the redemptive grace of God and have joy in new ways of living.

I will walk with you on the road to healing from trauma, childhood emotional neglect, relationship wounds, anxiety, depression, etc. Incorporating faith or working through faith can be a part of the process, if so desired. You do not have to walk alone. Sessions are confidential and non-judgmental.

Promoting positive, personal development. When we encounter unexpected turns in life, it is not uncommon to feel frustrated or lost in searching for answers. These circumstances bring new emotions that cause strain on one's personal and relational well-being. It is my desire to bring healing to those wading through these difficult times. Together, we find healthy avenues that lead to hope, restoration, and fulfillment.

As an individual I value respect, honesty, and trustworthiness from others in my life. As a counselor, I promise that is what you will receive from me. I will treat you or your family member with care and respect and will offer you a safe place to heal. Your mental health and your life are what is important to me and I will guild and help you to reach your goals.

Life so often gets in the way of us being who we really want to be, especially with the amount of distractions and chaos that we face today. I believe that we all have the ability to overcome those distractions and live life to the fullest. Sometimes those distractions are big things like psychological or medical diagnoses, divorce, or other big life events that steal our energy and focus. Sometimes they are less dramatic but still effect us greatly, like moving, changing jobs, or having anxiety or depression. My focus in counseling is learning who you are, what your goals are, and how I can best help you achieve them.

The ability to help others is of great importance to me. It is my objective to create a safe, warm, and inviting atmosphere for clients. While trained in a variety of theories, I seek to adapt my skills to meet the needs of my clients. Although my counseling background and specialties are with children and families, I value working with anyone because I believe we are brought to each other for a reason. I work with individuals, families, and children and utilize play and sand therapy in treatment.

Working with clients from all ages has increased my insight and efficacy in treatment. I am passionate about working with those who have experienced betrayal trauma, sexual addiction, substance abuse, and families that are affected by addiction. I work with people that are struggling with anxiety, boundaries, codependency, self-esteem, and core beliefs. I truly desire to help people discover who they were created to be and live life to the fullest.

At Revive Counseling and Wellness Services, we work to empower those around us to become better together by providing professional mental health and wellness services to the community. We offer individual, family and group counseling. I personally work with children, family sets such as sibling sets and parent and child, and individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, adjustment concerns and emotional abuse. As a single mother, I am passionate about mothers and the intersections we experience as we balance the growing needs of our families, careers and self-care.

Prior to creating Addiction Specialists LLC, I was the Director of a men’s treatment facility, provided addictions and trauma counseling services for adults and families in a private practice setting, the Program Director for an outpatient facility, and a Mental Health and Addiction Specialists at Auburn University Athletics Sports Medicine. I bring over 25 years of experience in the field of addiction treatment

Rapport is crucial to the therapy process. I strive to provide a welcoming, non-judgmental, and comfortable setting for each person I am fortunate to visit with. Working with adult individuals who are seeking a Christian perspective to whatever challenges they are facing is my main focus. In addition to providing therapy services, I also provide psychological testing and evaluations of all kinds, including (but not limited to) specific learning disabilities, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder, personality, and vocational/career interests.
