Starting the journey of gaining insight into your life and/or healing through counseling is a very important step in your process. Together, through the work done in therapy, we are able to unmask negativity, the lies hidden in your past determined to frame your future. As you begin to examine your life, counseling will help you uproot feelings of anxiety, attachment issues, depression, disconnection, isolation, rejection, self-doubt, lack of self-confidence, self-worth, suicidal ideation and trauma among any other untruths. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor accepting new clients within the State of Alabama. I provide a meaningful therapeutic experience for children, adolescents, and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, postpartum depression, relationship problems, and trauma.

I am currently accepting new clients through A Beautiful Mindset LLP telehealth therapy only. My hours are 4 p.m. - 7 p.m. Monday-Thursday. If you are new to telehealth therapy I am here to assist you with the process. I look forward to assisting you with achieving your goals and meeting your needs.

Evening sessions available! Accepting new clients! Limited income-based (sliding scale) spots available. I do not have an "ideal" client. Instead, I strive to be the "ideal" therapist for each client. Every client presents with different problems, different goals, and different motivators. Therefore, it is my job as the therapist to meet each client where they are at and provide them with the services they need and deserve. The one thing that I believe all clients have in common is the desire to take action that will promote them to a higher level of functioning in their every day life.

Darren D. Moore, Ph.D., MAED., LMFT is a Clinical Professor, Associate Director for Clinical Training and Supervision in a Masters program in Marriage and Family Therapy, and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Georgia, Alabama, NY, IL, and credentialed for telehealth in Florida. Dr. Moore utilizes an integrative therapeutic approach when working with clients. Dr. Moore is direct and believes in addressing problems head on, to ensure optimal success, within a limited amount of time. He has degrees from Teachers College, Columbia University, Virginia Tech University, Valdosta State University, and the University of Minnesota.

Mrs. Sapp enjoys the therapeutic benefit of engaging clients in walk-and-talk therapy while utilizing ACA's facility dogs. Her mission is to empower children, teens, and their families to overcome personal obstacles and improve their quality of life.
