Resilience: The ability or capacity to recover quickly and adapt in the face of adversity, trauma, and stress. As we all face times of unprecedented stress and anxiety, improving our ability to resilient has never been so important. At the Al Carlozzi Center for Counseling at OSU-Tulsa, our mission is to provide affirming, compassionate care for a variety of presenting concerns. We value and embrace diversity and are dedicated to providing services that acknowledge the negative impact of oppression and discrimination on mental health.
Services are available to adolescents over the age of 15 and adults who are residents of the community, including students, staff and faculty affiliated with Oklahoma State University. We provide individual, relationship, and group counseling and our counselors are specially trained in affirmative counseling for members of the LGBTQ+ community.
We are a training clinic staffed by counseling interns in the Masters and doctoral programs in Counseling and Counseling Psychology. All interns are supervised by licensed professionals and receive extensive training in a variety of presenting concerns and treatment modalities.
