I provide counseling by incorporating both intuitively driven work as well as Psychodynamic and Evidence Based modalities. Infused within the work is the encouraged reconnection to both the soul and the natural world. I believe that during the healing process from all types of trauma we can learn/relearn the feeling of joy as well as experience post traumatic growth.
I utilize Evidence Based Treatment modalities such as EMDR to help in reducing and alleviating the pain from trauma and distressing life experiences. Together we identify the negative beliefs that you believe to be true and which may differ greatly from the logical intellectual concept of the self thus creating a new path in which healing can occur.
By utilizing EMDR we can soften the ways these distressing memories and feelings are recalled and experienced in the now. This can be a turning point in ones' life allowing for the transformational shift in body, mind, heart and spirit.
