I am a Certified Emotionally Focused Couples Therapist (EFT). I also trained in body-centered approaches to trauma: SensoriMotor Psychotherapy and Hakomi. Incorporating the body within the therapy process supports the healing of unresolved issues which often undermine intimacy in adult love relationships and those between parent and child.
The new science of adult love states that the quality of our intimate relationships impacts both mental and physical health; and that relational distress is central to our deepest pain. I offer a safe and caring enviroment and provide emotionally corrective experiences which can heal dysfunctional relational patterns.
