Over the past two decades, I have worked with children, preteens, and families in the United States, serving populations facing developmental issues, emotional disturbance, and relational conflicts. My bilingual (Chinese & English) psychotherapeutic approach integrates theories and therapies, e.g., attachment-based, psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, interpersonal neurobiology, etc., and Christianity to enhance spiritual and emotional health.
My interest in in-service training relates to attachment and trauma issues, family therapy, emotional focus, and interpersonal neuroscience. I also graduated with a Doctor of Education in Community Care and Counseling, concentrating on Pastoral Care & Counseling.
I am a bilingual (English/Cantonese & Mandarin) and bi-cultural psychotherapist providing psychotherapy and consultation and conducting workshops on spiritual-emotional health, mental health, personal growth, child development, and parenting skills in schools, churches, and the community of the United States and China.
