I graduated from Wayne State University in 2020 with a Bachelors in social work. After completing the advanced program ten months later, I earned my Masters degree in social work from WSU as well. My background includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), with additional experience with Motivational Interviewing, grief & loss, trauma, depression, BPD, pre-marital & marital counseling, ADHD, and anxiety. I strongly believe everyone should have access to mental health services in efforts of achieving overall happiness.
For marriages, families, and individuals, my focus is to promote a greater wellbeing by providing psychoeducation to help mange, cope, heal, express and overcome. As a woman of faith, I'm passionate about empowering others and up holding the dignity and worth of a person no matter their race, beliefs system, cultural norms, or experiences.
As the women's pastor of my local church, I can provide faith-based therapy as a part of treatment at the client's discretion. I believe in the power of a listening ear and the value of wise counsel.
