Hi there, my name is Afsoun (Angie) Zarrabian and I am Licensed Marriage Family Therapist (LMFT). I am current member of California Association of Marriage and Family Therapist (CAMFT). I speak Farsi and I am fluent in American Sign Language. My style and approach is a good fit for young adults and individuals who may be dealing with anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, trauma, and social pressures. I help my clients to learn how to navigate these transition periods, to build skills to allow them to feel better about themselves and to develop a more positive outlook on life.
My communication style is compassionate, calm, accommodating and personable. I engage with my clients and strongly believe in active listening. I believe in taking a collaborative approach in helping clients reach their goals in an environment that is non-judgmental and private. I am multi-cultural and multi-lingual.
In our first session, we'll spend the majority of our time talking about how you've been feeling recently, and me asking questions to better understand some of why you may be feeling that way.
