My ideal client wishes to get help, recognizes that I can’t “fix anyone”, and is willing to take the time to work on themselves with the tools I can provide to them. I don’t want to be their expert but rather their guide down the path of self discovery with their understanding that I don’t judge my clients, nor do I have any expectations of them other than their desire to help themselves. This model is only for my adolescent to adult clients. Kids rarely think they need help. I’ve always imagined that I’m on the planet to help people who are marginalized, like victims of trauma, special needs kids, women and our frail elderly.
Specialities:Pediatric Bipolar. Therapies:art-music-play- sand tray, CBT. I do educational advocacy and will attend IEPs as a professional support person. I’m certified in these specialities: EMDR for trauma, Clinical Autism Disorder, ADHD assistance, Certified Grief Counseling. I do cognitive testing for aging in place/home, case management for seniors.
I have many degrees, 30 years of practice doing client centered therapy which assumes the client is the expert, they know their mind better than me. My specialities are Pediatric bipolar, and Autism spectrum. This group is the most misunderstood often blamed for their illness, their parents called enablers. I do age at home cognitive tests for frail elderly
