Hello! Haven for Healing CS is operated by Aericka Pawlikowski, LMHC, CCPT. I strive to provide a safe space for clients to process experiences, gain new skills and feel supported on a journey towards empowerment and self-discovery. I believe every individual has the capacity for change and growth, while recognizing their intrinsic worth. I hope to assist clients in navigating anxiety, depression, grief/loss, trauma, and identity development concerns. I am currently being trained in Dynamic Deconstructive Psychotherapy; originally created to help adults with borderline personality disorder, it can aid with other serious conditions.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in New York and a certified Child-Centered Play Therapist. I have worked in various therapeutic settings including schools and community-based agencies. I have extensive training with children, teens, and adults of all ages. My biggest passion is play therapy for kids as young as three years old.
I believe trust and safety are major cornerstones for any therapeutic relationship, and it guides my clinical work. My intention is to partner with clients in addressing and supporting their individual needs and goals.
