Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to witness healing and transformation, even when hope seemed far away. I am in awe of the resilience found in each of us and I believe that everyone has an inherent wisdom within that, when fostered, can lead to a happy, fulfilling life. As a therapist, I see my role as providing a safe, non-judgmental space for individuals to explore and identify their own personal strengths and use them to achieve the goals and dreams they have set for themselves.
I have worked in different clinical settings with a variety of individuals including adults (ages 18-80), couples, families, LGBTQ-identified individuals, and the criminal justice population. Prior to social work, I worked as a performer, musician and lead preschool teacher. I work with adults, families, couples, and LGBTQ-identified individuals.
I came to social work as a mid-life career change from music and performance art. Through my clinical training, years of professional experience, and artistic background I bring many skills to each therapeutic relationship. I work from a holistic approach, drawing from mindfulness, narrative, attachment and cultural-relational modalities.
