Having worked with individuals age 5 and up in schools and private practice, I use an existential-humanistic approach to address a host of presenting issues. I have helped clients with anxiety, depression, neurodiversity issues (including ADHD, gifted learners, and Autism Spectrum-related issues), emotional regulation, trauma, and navigating family and life transitions. I am LGBTQ+ and neurodiversity affirming. I strive to provide an environment of safety and trust for clients to explore presenting issues. I also believe in collaborating with clients to build therapeutic goals and to achieve them by cultivating individual strengths.
Through an existential-humanistic approach, I focus on the client’s experience and ability to address their barriers to personal growth. I offer sessions in a natural, outdoor setting through Equine Facilitated Psychotherapy (EFP), in-office face-to-face, and telehealth. I am currently credentialed with UHC and in process with BCBS and other insurers.
