If seeking and receiving therapy were easy, everyone would be doing so. Therefore, I would like to commend you on taking the first steps toward strengthening your mental health. I have a Master’s of Science in Professional Counseling and a Bachelor’s of Science in Elementary Education. I am currently pursuing my PhD in Human Services with a specialization in Mental Health. I am the published Author of two books geared toward overcoming childhood trauma. I have been married to an Army war Veteran for 22 years. I am well-versed in working with children, teens, families, and couples.
My clients come to me for everything from grief to low self-esteem. Once a troubled teen myself, I can relate on a professional and personal level to the many intricacies along the journey to adulthood. I believe that having a good rapport with and having trust in one’s counselor is of the utmost importance.
