Currently accepting new patients for day time appointments only (before 2pm) . I'm a clinical psychologist with 20 years of experience working with children, adolescents, families and adults. My approach to therapy is centered on building a trusting, friendly, open and accepting environment where individuals and families feel safe to collaboratively work to create positive change in their lives.
I'm experienced in working with those struggling with anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, adjustment to difficult life changes, OCD, trauma, ADHD and loss. I also provide parents and caregivers with tools to help decrease problematic behaviors and improve communication.
I believe that therapy should be strength based and collaborative and incorporate a variety of approaches, including play therapy, CBT, mindfulness and TF-CBT (Trauma Focused CBT), when applicable.
