| español My name is Adriana Gutierrez and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor - Supervisor. Congratulations on taking the first step to healing. In my years as a therapist, I believe that healing is possible with some motivation and commitment from an individual. My goal is to help you find the solutions that work for you to achieve your goals and improve your mental health and find healing.
I have over 15 years’ experience in counseling in areas of trauma, depression, anxiety, sexual abuse, and domestic violence. I also have extensive experience working with immigrant families and am fully bilingual in Spanish and English. I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused therapy and trauma informed care in my work with clients.
I received my masters in counseling in 2006 from Sam Houston State University. I have been licensed in the State of Texas since 2009. I am also a Licensed Supervisor providing training to Licensed Interns since 2012. I am available to meet via tele-health, evenings, and weekends. I also provide immigration evaluations for Hardship, VAWA, and Asylum Cases.
