I'm so glad to meet you on this therapeutic journey! My desire as a therapist is to meet people where they are in their own process of exploration and healing. That said, the most successful clients are ready to open themselves up to the chance that change is possible. I entered the mental health field to provide the kind of support and care that I would want my own family members to receive if they were experiencing an emotional or psychological crisis. I have been on both sides of the mental health system and know the barriers that can occur in finding quality and compassionate mental health care.
I specifically identify as a trauma therapist and addiction specialist, although I am comfortable and familiar with a range of mental health and emotional needs and backgrounds. It is more important for me to focus on the “why” and symptoms than labels.
I joined MHS to be a part of a diverse and dynamic team of like-minded clinicians dedicated to expanding and improving the experience of telemedicine.
