I specialize in working with individuals and couples of colors helping with depression, anxiety, maladaptive family dynamics, overcoming trauma, colorism, impacts of racism, uprooting cultural disparities, relationship challenges, and regular life challenges. I have a direct approach as well as value rapport building to empower my clients to adjust their thoughts feelings and behaviors. I hold clients accountable to their goals and expectations they set for themselves.
My specialty revolves around validating and empathizing with the experiences of men and women of color. Whether they are individually seeking change or as a couple my therapy style will revolve around acknowledging the experiences, telling the truth, and seeing where the shift can happen, if any.
