My name is Stephanie Flores and I'm a wife, mother and an extremely passionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Since graduating from USC with my masters in Social Work, I've specialized in treating adolescents and their families. Now more than ever, youth are battling symptoms of ADHD, depression, anxiety, self-harm and trauma. Parents are at a loss as to how to remedy these challenges on their own and deserve to be guided and supported along with their youth.
When our emotional needs go unmet, it can lead to a multitude of symptoms and behaviors that impair our ability to function and live an authentic life. I emphasize a cognitive analytic approach that supports clients in building awareness into the dynamics of their connections with others and with themselves that drive their symptoms and presenting problems.
Together, we can uncover these counterproductive patterns, free the client from them and develop healthier approaches to meet the client's needs. I'm a firm believer that we all have a human need to understand why things are the way they are and through this insight we can feel empowered and take action to achieve the change we most desire.
