I am a clinical psychologist with training in DBT, CBT, ACT, and mindfulness/compassion based approaches. I see my role as a therapist as someone who helps you to identify personal development goals and work with you, through a combination of evidence based treatment and emotion support and processing, to help you reach those goals.
My specialty is in Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and other mindfulness based therapies. DBT is an evidence-based treatment for people who have difficulties with emotion regulation. I use a combination of a CBT and DBT approach to teach skills and help them to understand themselves better.
I am also an assistant professor at Kean University.
