If you are neurodivergent (have SPD, ADHD, ASD, C-PTSD etc.) and want to work with someone who truly understands, I'm the right therapist for you. I know the struggle of feeling overloaded, overstimulated, and overwhelmed. Maybe you have had trouble with socializing. Maybe you have often felt misunderstood. It's likely you have been through adverse childhood experiences that have continued to affect you. Maybe life has felt more challenging for you than for others. You're not alone. You just need someone who gets it and has the right tools for you to live a joyful life.

I specialize in helping parents understand and support their child’s autism, ADHD, or sensory needs, and I work with neurodivergent adults seeking emotional regulation and self-acceptance.
You’re a parent feeling overwhelmed by your child’s intense emotions or behaviors, unsure of how to support their autism, ADHD, or sensory needs. Or maybe you’re an adult, navigating life with neurodivergence, feeling misunderstood or disconnected. You need someone who "gets it," who can help you understand the "why" behind behaviors and provide tools that actually work. Your goal is to embrace your or your child’s uniqueness, reduce stress, and create a sense of peace and understanding at home or within yourself. You want guidance from someone with lived experience who can empower you with lasting solutions.

I worked as Family Interventionist Specialist for children and adolescents diagnosed with ADHD at MHMR of Tarrant County, worked as Clinical Director of Dallas Sigma Counseling Services for two years, and worked as Lead Trauma Therapist at the Youth Center of MHMR in Fort Worth, TX.
I endeavor to help my clients to identify their existing strengths and develop resilience with my specialized knowledge and clinical expertise. In the beginning of counseling, my clients will have a clear understanding of where they are emotionally, relationally, and spiritually, which lead them to work on specific goals in the working stage of counseling. Therapeutic interventions will include adjusting thought/behavior patterns (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) to intensify their strengths to overcome crisis. I have successfully worked with the clients who struggled with behavior issues, parenting issues, substance abuse, addiction, PTSD, and trauma-related issues.

As a seasoned therapist with extensive clinical experience and someone personally diagnosed with ADHD, I understand firsthand the challenges you face.
Do you often have anxious thoughts, low motivation, pressure to please others, and struggling to initiate tasks or meet deadlines? Perhaps you find yourself preoccupied with thoughts about how others perceive you or whether you're achieving enough in your work and personal life. It can be exhausting to constantly second-guess yourself, forgetting important details, and feeling like you're falling short compared to others. You're not alone. These are common challenges adults with ADHD face—trying to meet expectations or feeling overwhelmed because it all seems too much to handle. I can help.

I've had success with individuals dealing with depression, anxiety, suicidality, sexual issues, ADHD, chronic pain, addiction, and other issues.
A relationship seldom gets better on its own, but we often “hope” that it will. Don’t wait until you loose hope to seek relationship counseling, or counseling for any other issues you may be facing. The longer you wait, the more difficult each day can become. Self-help books often generalize, and medication often fails to deal with the cause of the imbalance. With counseling, I provide a personalized examination of your issues so that you may learn how to overcome them and create a life of relationships and experiences that you will greet with great enthusiasm.

ADHD Therapists

When should I seek treatment for ADHD?

You should seek treatment for ADHD if you consistently have difficulty with attention, hyperactivity, or impulsivity that interferes with your daily life. Symptoms of ADHD include the inability to sustain attention during tasks, difficulty organizing tasks and activities, being easily distracted, frequent fidgeting or squirming, and talking or interrupting excessively. If these symptoms interfere with your career, academics, or relationships—for example, consistently failing to complete professional projects on time—you should seek an evaluation for ADHD.

How does treatment for ADHD work?

Effective treatment for ADHD often consists of medication, behavioral therapy, and lifestyle changes. Stimulant medications such as Adderall and Ritalin work by altering levels of neurotransmitters in the brain; higher levels of dopamine and norepinephrine are known to improve attention and focus. Therapy works by helping people with ADHD understand the condition, discuss their areas of difficulty, and develop behavioral strategies to manage their symptoms. In some cases, modifying one’s diet and exercise can also help improve symptoms.

Are there specific medications for ADHD?

Medications to treat ADHD are generally stimulants, the most common are Adderall and Ritalin. There are two categories of stimulants: Amphetamines include Adderall, Dyanavel, Vyvanse, and Dexedrine, and methylphenidates include Ritalin, Concerta, Daytrana, Focalin, Quillichew, Quillivant, and Metadate. Non-stimulants and antidepressants may be used as an alternative if stimulants aren’t effective or viable for a particular patient.

How long does treatment for ADHD take?

It’s tough to give an exact time frame because everyone varies. In terms of medications, stimulants begin to work very soon after you take them, generally within the hour. It may take time to identify the right medication and dosage, but the medication itself is fast-acting. In terms of therapy, it takes time to develop skills and put them into practice, but you will likely see improvements within a few weeks or months.
