I'm a licensed clinical social worker that specializes in working with children (8+) and adolescents; I also work with families, young adults, and adults. My clients are of diverse populations that are experiencing challenges with education/school, peer relationships, ADHD, depression, anxiety, Autism Spectrum Disorder, mood disorders, and/or trauma. Their goals include being less anxious, develop a toolbox of healthy coping strategies, improve communication and relationships, be more independent, and advocate for themselves.
I utilize evidence-based practices including cognitive behavior therapy, solution-focused therapy, motivational interviewing, play therapy, and trauma focused cognitive behavior therapy. My therapy approach is person-centered, culturally sensitive, trauma-informed, and tailored to each client’s unique needs, meeting the client where they are.
As a social worker, I respect the client’s right to self-determination and seek to empower clients to become more autonomous. I value and prioritize creating a strong, therapeutic relationship with clients. I provide a consistent, collaborative, nonjudgmental, and welcoming space for clients where they feel comfortable to be their authentic selves.
