My passion is working with teens and young adults. Clients have noted that my relaxed personality sprinkled with humor helps them feel at ease. I provide a nonjudgmental space where clients can be themselves, embracing their race/sexuality/identity/beliefs. I believe that the therapeutic relationship is of utmost importance, making sure clients feel accepted and understood. I emphasize empowering people to make their own changes at a pace they are comfortable with, while challenging them to utilize the skills they've learned in therapy outside of sessions - After all, I believe the ultimate goal of therapy is to get out of therapy!
I am EMDR trained and have experience treating substance abuse, trauma, depression, anxiety, and adult ADHD. I also have experience working with teens involved in the criminal justice system.
