I am an empathetic and practical therapist who helps adults and adolescents address anxiety, depression, stress, career and sports performance issues, and relationship issues in a thoughtful, emotionally sensitive, and logical way. I work to establish a strong and supportive therapeutic partnership to help clients better understand themselves and the experiences they are going through, and develop a skill set to address current and future challenges. My work as a therapist is informed by my 20 years of experience in the education field as a teacher and principal and as an athletic coach at the college, high school and club level.
I help adults address issues of performance in their careers, relationships and other important areas of life. With adolescents I help address issues such as social anxiety, self-esteem, self-regulation, school anxiety and school refusal. I also work with individual student athletes and athletic teams to address mental strength and performance anxiety.
I am a therapist at Montclair Behavioral Health and Wellness, a group practice offering the highest quality therapy and psychiatry services. I am dedicated to the idea that therapy is a safe place to explore our challenges, understand their origins, learn about oneself, and develop the skills to move forward in life more effectively.
