Often we struggle to find others we feel can help us along our way, who we trust to hold and respect our pain. Seeking support in therapy can be the first step to re-gaining a sense of control, a value of one's own self-worth, and a hope in the possibility of change. I am a person-centered clinical social worker who values the honesty, exploration, reflection, challenge, balance, and care that a therapeutic relationship can provide.
I work predominantly with teenagers and young adults, many of whom find themselves facing profound challenges that impact their ability to function in many areas of their lives. I have significant experience working with mood and anxiety disorders, personality issues, trauma, family dysfunction, and the transition to adulthood.
I identify as a humanist above all else, and that foundational lens is paramount to the collaborative and relational work I engage in with my clients. I employ a wide range of clinically integrative approaches, theoretical frameworks, and intervention strategies to best meet the needs of each unique individual.
