You are not alone. One of the most common experiences we share as humans are having ups and downs occur throughout our lives. Then messages that we tell ourselves start to pile on... "I'm not good enough", "I can't..", "what if..", and the "should, should, should" become our constant burden. This can become a downward spiral of events, thoughts, emotions and behavior. My focus is to connect with you to sort this out and develop messages that help you overcome suffering. My practice focuses on ages 14 - 65 on issues including: Addiction, Anger, Depression, Anxiety, Domestic Violence, Overcoming Shame and Life Transitions.
Adam established his career by practicing in community mental health for 16 years working with a variety of clients on a variety of issues. During his time in community mental health is when Adam became grounded in Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma Focused CBT and Cognitive Processing Therapy.
The wisdom that we truly need comes from within; we often just need a forum to hear it from our own voice. Adam’s goal is to connect with a person’s intrinsic strengths, insight, and wisdom. Breaking down manufactured barriers that stop many people from reaching their potential and often lead to additional suffering along the way.
