Hi there! My name is Abigail, and I am currently pursuing a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling through Walden University. I was drawn to the helping profession through my love for relationships and a deep desire to understand emotional processes and healing within my current career as an Athletic Trainer. I bring a warm inviting presence to the counseling environment. I’ve always been there to support those around me in their time of need and consider myself to be a very caring individual. I meet people where they are and walk alongside them to where they want to be.
I am open to working with all ages of all backgrounds and walks of life. I utilize several approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy and person-centered techniques to encourage growth and promote healing. I am interested in working with mood disorders, anxiety disorders, eating disorders and issues related to sports performance.
Counseling is a challenging, yet warm process that entails self-reflection and honest conversation. It is important for me to create a space for you to feel comfortable, and open. My goals are to help you reach your goals in a supportive, empathetic, and compassionate space where you feel safe.
