Hi there! I'm Abby, a queer, non-binary (they/them) therapist located in the East Lansing area. I'm most passionate when providing mental health support to other queer adults, autistic adults, non-monogamous adults, and when working with those who identify as disabled. That being said, I welcome any and all connections! I have experience working with anxiety, depression, trauma, autism and autism self-advocacy, bipolar disorder, family conflict, relationship conflict, gender and/or sexual identity exploration, polyamory and ethical non-monogamy, and kink.
My process involves empowering you, aiding you in the development of self-awareness, and identifying your strengths, all while learning and practicing coping and regulation strategies. My process is eclectic, where it combines aspects of CBT, DBT, ACT, person-centered therapy, feminist theory, and existential theory.
