It is my personal belief that everyone can benefit from counseling at some point in their life. Utilizing an eclectic approach to counseling theory focusing on client strengths and individual needs, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) are modalities often employed. Most importantly, Christian tenents are woven throughout sessions to strengthen client's faith and offer hope.
Starting my career in education, my background includes working with children and students of all ages, from the formal setting of school to volunteer work throughout my community. I was a middle school counselor for five years before entering the world of private practice at my local Christian church where I saw children, adolescents, and adults.
