I am excited to work with all different kinds of clients but have especially focused thus far on working with teenagers and young adults and clients who are dealing with anxiety, depression, or trauma.
My counseling approach is person-centered with a focus on developing an empathic, trusting, and affirming relationship. I utilize techniques from CBT and other theories to help clients increase self-awareness, understand their stories, and begin to make changes to their thoughts and behaviors to improve their health, their lives, and their relationships.
