I am extremely passionate about building rapport and collaborating with clients to create an environment of acceptance, safety, and support. I assist and empower clients to create goals that can be integrated into their daily lives and believe compassion, understanding, and trust are key factors throughout the entire therapeutic process. I strive to meet clients where they are and help clarify which areas they would like to improve. While therapy can be overwhelming at times, my main goal is to provide clients with a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere throughout their therapeutic journey.
I obtained my Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Governors State. I have direct clinical experience working with adolescents, individuals experiencing domestic violence and community mental health. I have been trained to care for those who have perinatal mood disorder (anxiety or depression during pregnancy or postpartum) through PSI.
