Children are still learning to navigate this world. When things become overwhelming for them, they may resort to behaviors that you find frustrating as a parent. However, all behaviors are a form of communication, and therapy can help give them a voice and a place to process their stress or fears. As adults, we may look back at our childhood and wish that someone had intervened or understood us better. Therapy can be that place, helping children build their coping skills, regulate their emotions, and feel empowered. Using play therapy, I meet the kids where they are and use age-appropriate strategies to help them express themselves.
I specialize in working with children aged 3 to 12 and address a range of concerns including self-esteem, divorce, trauma, anxiety, and behavioral issues. In addition to working directly with the child, I also provide 15-minute parent feedback sessions to offer support to the parents. My goal is to bridge the gap between the child's world and the adult world
