The greatest discovery I have made in life is to embrace the unexpected, to crave the twists and turns as much as the great joys of life, and to lead with curiosity. My approach to therapy is eclectic and individualized. I utilize forms of modern psychodynamic therapy, cognitive behavioral, and existential approaches. However, I overlay a trauma-informed approach which is the foundation of my experience. I have specialized in addressing interpersonal traumas including childhood, domestic violence, and sexual assault.
I believe strongly that the foundation of great therapy lies in finding the right fit with a therapist. I believe that you should be in control of the direction of your own therapy. I offer suggestions for exploration while simultaneously sharing the reactions I am seeing. We will develop resources to proceed safely and supportively when the time is right.
