I'll help you embrace your autonomy. Working with your strengths, I will help you find relief from the challenging issues you're facing. I am a clinically-trained licensed clinical professional counselor in Kansas, Texas, Missouri and Nevada. I am trained in dialectical behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing, and I use cognitive behavioral therapy to bring relief from emotional disturbance. I am particularly comfortable working with clients who have mood disorders, like depression and anxiety.
I have previous training in spiritual care, offering support to many different faith traditions in a hospital setting, and I enjoy working with people from different cultures. I will use reflection to help you gain better self-understanding and I use psychoeducation to reinforce new skills that will help you cope with unhelpful and anxious thoughts.
I enjoy running and going to the park with my children. I also enjoy watching college sports, and I love opening season of the MLB. He/Him
