I believe that clients have the tools in them to work through life's struggles, to bring them forth and use them. Clients can also learn new skills to make the necessary changes needed in their life. I use the therapeutic theories of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy.
I have 16 years experience as a Licensed Professional Counselor. I worked with children, adolescents and adults in outpatient and residential treatment settings. I also have experience collaborating with social workers, case managers, psychiatrists and primary care providers during the treatment process.
My hope is that my clients will learn to take care of themselves physically, emotionally and spiritually; and that they will know what it means to live a life with good mental health.
