Dr. Hallstrom, PhD, LISAC, LCDC has a passion for helping those that silently suffer with substance abuse (i.e. nicotine, alcohol, excessive caffeine, marijuana, street drugs and prescription drugs, etc.) and their co-occurring disorders (i.e. trauma, depression, personality disorders, anxiety, ADHD, etc.). Dr. Hallstrom offers counseling for clients that are 12 years or older, individuals and couples.
I have a Masters Degree in Addiction Counseling. I also have a PhD in General Psychology with an emphasis on integrated behavioral health (where physical and mental health needs meet in the middle). I am also trained in Trauma Therapy to help those that struggle from a past traumatic experience that may be impeding their sobriety.
If you or a loved one struggles from mental health and substance abuse problems, reach out to me. I'm happy to give a brief consultation on how I can assist you at this time of need.
