My goal is to manifest your vision and your wishes out of life, to stand by you in your process of self actualization and inner peace.
This time has been isolating and life alternating to say the least. Many of us are left with a feeling of overwhelm as we are separated from one another and cannot participate in the lifestyle routines that once helped us to feel grounded. I have been working with many clients this year to find a source of balance and inner peace when so much of the world has shut down and become unavailable to us. From anxiety, depression and Pandemic PTSD to low motivation and deflation. Feelings of isolation, loneliness and despondency are a few of the many issues I work with in my clients at the moment. Let me help you build your new world!

When life is swirling around you, it's sometimes difficult to sort out what's important from the distractions.
I work with people of all ages and backgrounds who are going through or looking for change in their lives. Does this sound like you? "I often feel life is taking me for a ride." " I seem to respond to circumstances rather than create opportunities." "I know there is more to life than this!" I help my clients identify their limiting beliefs and understand how they influence the perception of life experiences. When limiting beliefs are replaced by positive, empowering beliefs, we can eliminate obstacles which are keeping you from becoming the best YOU, that you can be.

I use ACT and growth mindset to increase resilience, coming to terms with the challenges of life and performance and learning from difficult situations instead of avoiding them, as well as teaching coping skills.
I'm Connor, the head athletics mental health clinician at Washington State University. I work with athletes and others on their general mental health and sport psych performance issues. On the performance side, I treat performance anxiety, lack of confidence, burnout, and more. On the clinical side, I work with people experiencing depression, anxiety, difficulty with stress management, big life adjustments, grief, hoarding, and more. Regardless of the model, I always provide a warm, positive listening ear with a strong desire to help.

Together, we can arrive at a path of growth that makes sense to you.

But, mostly, I’m interested in getting to know you, your goals, and how I can best aid in helping you create the life you desire and deserve.
You should feel seen, heard and understood. You should never feel judged, and you should always feel welcome. If you choose to spend your time with me, that is what you can expect in therapy. Therapy is at your pace, and it starts with us building a relationship. I listen to your story, get to know you and your goals and learn how to best support you. Together, we look at who you are, what you believe and how you cope with challenges to determine a treatment plan that is right for you.

My background in health psychology included a holistic approach to healing and wholeness, bringing mind, body, spirit, culture and other contextual factors together to expand awareness in the exploration and acceptance of who you are, what it means to be you, and how you wish to live your life.
Are you struggling with thoughts, emotions, memories, grief, loss, trauma, stress, anxiety, depression, panic, anger, feeling stuck, or worried about your relationships? My therapy practice is based on a belief that everyone has a unique history with many experiences that shape and transform our ways of being and interactions. Each person is beautiful and whole with a powerful story. So many factors impact our development, how we see ourselves, and how we relate to one another. Sometimes it can be difficult to know who we are, who we want to be, or how to take the next step.

I work with individuals and couples who are dealing with anxiety, trauma, sexuality and LGTBQ issues and/or life transitions, depression, athlete identity struggles, and are searching for better ways to understand themselves and navigate life.
In the midst of life’s highs and lows, it is inevitable to sometimes feel disconnected or confused. I believe hard experiences and challenges are chances to meet ourselves and to touch the depths of who we really are. Often, who we truly are gets buried under who we were taught to be in order to obtain love or be successful. I am passionate about working with individuals and couples to uncover old narratives and defeating patterns in order to discover how to live authentic and fully connected lives, to both ourselves and each other. Inspired by personal development and growth, our work will help you achieve your desires and goals.

I consider therapy a life companion.
I am so glad you are here. Whether this is your first time working with a professional counselor or you are seeking to change counselors, congratulate yourself—it is a big step to trust yourself and seek support. I work with individuals and couples who are looking to explore who they are and how they can make sense of the world around them more clearly. Folks who may be experiencing anxiety and depression, or even trying to figure out if that is what they should call it. In my work with couples I look to support and facilitate healthy communication and individual and collective understanding.

At Self Space, I work with youth, adults, and families experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, and interpersonal challenges.
In therapy, you have the opportunity to explore yourself and your inner world in a supportive space. Spending this time with a collaborative partner can help you uncover new ways of thinking and being. We often emerge from therapy feeling less stuck and more compassion for ourselves and the hard parts of their lives.

My ultimate goal is to help clients navigate challenges skillfully and create the life they want to live.
I believe we are all capable of building a meaningful life if we have the right tools and support. I enjoy working with motivated adults who want to learn effective ways to cope with difficult emotions and stressors. I predominantly support clients with mood and anxiety conditions as well as those who are seeking personal growth and want to improve their quality of life. Together, we can explore patterns that are no longer serving you, determine meaningful changes you'd like to make, and develop healthy coping skills to manage challenges. My counseling style is interactive, compassionate, and action oriented.

My work as a therapist is energized and informed by life-long work with various populations including refugees, cancer patients and their families, defendants, crime victims, long-term-care residents and the developmentally disabled.
Everyone has the innate capacity to grow through difficulties and my goal is to support and empower you to connect to your inherent inner resources. I work with adults struggling with life transitions, depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, relationship issues, self esteem, divorce, stress, and behavioral addictions such as porn and shopping. I believe that growth occurs through caring, compassion and learning to reconnect with the wisdom of your body. We will build on your strengths and shed the negative messages of dominant systems. We will discover what you really care about to establish loving connections to yourself and others.

I am originally from San Diego, then I spent some time experiencing life in the vast and often snow-filled states in the great Mid-West before finally settling down in the crisp air and flannel-loving state of Washington.
No matter what you are going through, know that I am here to listen, support you and help you figure it all out! Welcome to the newest generation of self care and mental health- this is easy, accessible, no-stress, stigma free help for whatever you are going through. Feel free to wear your sweatpants, sit on the couch and have a session on your phone or lap top. Prefer in person? No problem, we can talk a walk outdoors, meet in a coffee shop, or meet in my West Seattle or Fremont Office space. Clients have told me I provide a compassionate, empathetic and truthful perspective.

Life has many challenges and transitions.
I work with a diversity of adults experiencing relationship issues, anxiety, depression, PTSD, and life transitions. Are you feeling stuck in in a pattern but unsure how to break out of it? Are you struggling to find a sense of balance or hope, navigating life transition, or feeling afraid to engage in activities you once enjoyed? You may be experiencing self-judgment, low self-worth, shame, or just seeking change. These are common issues that bring people to therapy. These challenges can be an opportunity for deeper growth and acceptance. When you feel seen and heard in therapy, deep healing is possible.

Life Coaching Therapists

What can I expect from life coaching?

Clients and coaches will typically start by identifying the problem area(s) that the client hopes to address—then, the coach will help the client brainstorm potential solutions and explore concrete techniques to help the client attain their goals. Coaching is typically short-term and focused on finding solutions in the here and now, rather than exploring a client’s past. In addition to strategies aimed at the client’s specific concerns, coaches may encourage general stress management techniques such as meditation.

Can a life coach help treat anxiety?

Because the majority of life coaches are not licensed clinicians, they are not qualified to diagnose or treat anxiety. Anyone struggling with anxiety or another mental health condition should seek help from a licensed mental health practitioner. However, some coaching clients who struggle with subclinical anxiety report that working with their coach on other problems—such as career dissatisfaction or unhealthy habits—has a positive effect on their anxiety.

Can life coaching be done online?

Yes. While life coaching often happens in person, many coaches conduct sessions over the phone or via online platforms such as Zoom or Skype. Because life coaches are not subject to local licensing regulations in the same way that therapists are, they are able to see clients who live in other locations.

How long does life coaching last?

Life coaching tends to be a shorter-term process than therapy, though it does not always unfold over a specific period of time and is instead based on the coach’s or the client’s preferences. Coaching often takes place over three to 12 months but may be shorter or longer if necessary.
