Above all, I view therapy as a relationship.
I believe relationships are the most important aspect of our lives. They shape our experiences, influence our emotions, and contribute significantly to our overall well-being. My passion lies in helping women heal and strengthen their relationships with both their selves and others. My practice focuses on creating a safe and compassionate space where clients can explore root causes of their struggles, connect to their intuition, and foster a deeper understanding of themselves and their connection with others. I believe that once we can understand the “why,” we are more empowered to create positive change in our lives.

We will explore past and present experiences that impact the roles we play in our relationship, and we will dive deep into why we show up the way we do so that our future behaviors align with what we most value.
Chances are you feel like your relationship lacks trust and intimacy. You might feel like the arguments you have with your loved one always end up in "band-aid" type solutions, and that your partner doesn't quite understand what you're needing or feeling when you express what's important to you. But you're ready to make a change. You're ready to feel like your partner is on your team and would love to build an even deeper connection with him/her/them. You don't want your past to define your future and want to break from old patterns to reach new levels in your relationship where it feels more real and honest.

I practice what I like to call relationship therapy. This means I work best with people who are psychologically-minded and want to develop a therapeutic relationship with me. Together (key word!) we seek to understand (another key word) the roots of your emotional distress. My belief is that these roots may be hidden or disguised, but never totally beyond one's grasp. Change is always possible.

I believe there is profound power in the therapeutic relationship to create space for individuals, couples, and families to cultivate authenticity, vulnerability, and intentional risk taking.
My approach to therapy is authentic, warm, and honest. I use a collaborative and non-judgmental approach with my clients to support them in discovering their goals for therapy, finding new perspectives, and disrupting harmful patterns that may be showing up. I draw from a number of evidence-based treatment styles and tailor my approach to each individual but am inherently person-centered and strengths-based.

I am also deeply invested in creating a clinical relationship that balances safety and connection with appropriate challenge.
I am a generalist, and my practice includes adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Clients approach me for a wide range of issues and concerns, which can include interpersonal or relationship problems, family conflict, grief, transitions, depression, anxiety, and the recovery from trauma or abuse. I also see individuals who simply want to live happier or more fulfilling lives. My therapeutic orientation is flexible and integrative. Most often, I utilize emotion-focused, relational, experiential, and somatic techniques. However, I ultimately strive to work in a way that optimally matches my clients' unique needs.

I am now accepting new clients! My approach to therapy is open minded, collaborative, and inclusive. I take a "come as you are" approach and encourage my clients to show up as their true selves for us to form a trusting therapeutic relationship. I offer support to my clients in their healing, pattern-breaking, life transitions, exploration of self, depression, anxiety, and relationship issues. I personally tailor my approach to each individual as therapy is not a “one size fits all.” I find value in community, connection, and laughter in both my daily life and therapy.

I'm here to compassionately support the process of reaching for a better life and a better relationship.
You keep running into the same issues and arguments with your partner. You're exhausted, and not sure where to go from here. More than anything, you want to feel connected, cared for, understood, safe, and joyful together. You believe this might be possible, but you don't know where to start, and you're not getting anywhere right now. You might even be wondering if you want to continue your relationship at all.

I offer skillful therapy with warmth, gentleness, humor, and an interactive, down to earth style. My therapeutic approach blends more traditional psychodynamic work with body-oriented psychotherapy, mindfulness practices, and the development of a safe and supportive therapeutic relationship. I work with adolescent and adult individuals, couples, and groups. This work is about igniting what works, what is strong and beautiful in us, as much as it is about resolving old hurt and compassionately holding the difficulties of life. Therapy can facilitate powerful shifts creating greater room for happiness, authenticity and a deeper sense of purpose and meaning.

I work with people with people who are experiencing depression or anxiety due to relationship issues and past trauma and abuse.
Good therapy is a gift that you give yourself: a gift of understanding, compassion, and clarity. It can lead to better relationships and the ability to enjoy what is good in life, even when bad things happen. The saying, "What is shareable is bearable," forms the backbone of my philosophy. Being able to talk about what is troubling you can help you deal with stress and relationships. I help individuals process the issues causing them stress and I help couples get to the heart of their issues.

I specialize in psychotherapy for adults with a range of concerns including anxiety, depression and relationship issues. I work with clients individually to come to a shared understanding of current difficulties as well as ongoing patterns that contribute to symptoms. Once we understand how and why these difficulties and patterns developed, we can then work towards modifying them and minimizing obstacles to change as they become apparent.

My areas of focus include anxiety, depression, relationship issues, complex PTSD/trauma, women’s issues, sexual abuse, existential dread, neuro-divergence, and more.
I think life can be compared to a Hero’s Journey. While we may not have the same linear storyline with visible obstacles and hard earned victories, we are on a journey nonetheless. Therapy can help us explore the uncharted domains of our psyche, our overwhelming fears, our surprising heroic capabilities, and our joy. I use an integration of many therapeutic modalities in order to explore this including relational psychodynamic therapy, somatic/body psychotherapy, and attachment based therapy creating a more experiential and formative experience overall.

My specialties are relationship issues, depression, loss (including pet loss), and general anxiety.
I believe that everyone has the capacity for growth or change, whether it's easily identifiable or not. Sometimes this change occurs in tiny steps and sometimes it occurs in leaps and bounds. Other times it is difficult to even recognize that growth or change is possible and we may feel stuck, down, scared, confused, or frustrated. Together we will explore what growth or change may look like for you and how it can happen.

Do you find yourself stuck in unpleasant conflict no matter what you do? You may be fed up with how you can't seem to get unstuck from unpleasant thoughts and feelings, wondering if your relationship is built to last, or even if you yourself might be broken. You might not remember a time things didn’t feel this way. But one thing is for sure: you’re ready for some relief. You’re ready to find healing from these patterns you're stuck in. You’re ready to forge a new relationship with others and yourself. You’re ready to be seen, felt, and heard.

Relationship Issues Therapists
While need for human connection appears to be innate, the ability to form healthy, loving relationships is learned. Some evidence suggests that the ability to form a stable relationship starts to form in infancy, in a child's earliest experiences with a caregiver who reliably meets the infant's needs for food, care, warmth, protection, stimulation, and social contact. Such relationships are not destiny, but they are theorized to establish deeply ingrained patterns of relating to others. The end of a relationship, however, is often a source of great psychological anguish.
