At end of the day my calling is to help others improve relationships, self-esteem, emotional regulation or/and heal past traumas if they are getting in the way of where you want to be.

I am a General Adult Psychiatrist and have been practicing and teaching psychotherapy for almost 40 years. My psychiatric training started at the Oregon State Hospital in 1978. After two years I transferred to the University of Pittsburgh where I completed my psychiatric training and had my first psychiatric practice. My primary focus is on each patient's relationship with him or herself. I see psychotherapy and all psychiatric treatment as a collaborative process in which I work with the patient to help them achieve their goals.

I offer individual telehealth therapy for adults (18+) who are motivated to change their lives. I view individuals as part of a system and the mind/body as an integrated whole. While providing a supportive presence, I work with clients in a shared partnership where healing and transformation are encouraged.

Hello. Many people seek a therapist when they’re feeling stuck, are in the middle of a change, want to challenge their growth edge, or feeling alone or disconnected. Internal and external dynamics contribute to a sense of discomfort and innumerable signs and symptoms, which are meant to catch our attention. My approach to therapy is to support and guide you to listen deeply to the meaning of those experiences, increase your sense of connection to yourself and others, and build practices that strengthen your willingness and ability to access ease, connection, and compassion.

I primarily see children age 5 through 17 at this time, with a special focus on anxiety disorders, trauma, PTSD and abuse recovery, and highly sensitive/highly empathic children.
