I have worked in Corporate America and for the military. I have played sports and started churches. The breadth of my experiences are wide and my mission is to make a difference in the lives of those I am blessed to work with as a counselor. My ideal client will be between the ages of 12-85, individual, couple or family, dealing with a variety of issues from trauma/ptsd, to depression and other mental health disorders, and potentially co-occurring substance use disorder.

Areas of specialities include mindfulness, BDSM, gender, non-monogamy, social justice, anxiety, depression, neurodivergence, bp.d, sex therapy, and trauma. I place you at the center of your own story. I incorporate mind-body connection, emotional experiences, and relationships of all kinds into the therapy space. I truly believe that you deserve to live your best life, and I am here to offer whatever help I may toward that end.

You've come to the realization that something is missing or just doesn't square up like it used to. All of this is natural within the modern human experience, yet men aren't often taught how to recognize and talk through these feelings and scenarios.

I have done some of my best work therapeutically with clients who have a hard time being kind to themselves. I've found that patterns of self-criticism or even self-harm often, though not always, originate in dynamics that were present at home growing up. Challenges from childhood, adolescence and young adulthood can continue to affect your daily life, including your functioning and relationships, and I'm here to help. I'm proud to work with members of the LGBTQ+ communities.

I imagine that there is a unique path to well-being for each person. I honor that belief by embracing an eclectic counseling style and by meeting the individual needs of each client. I believe that making small changes can have ripple effects which improve mental health in unforeseen ways. I feel that being willing to look within and change is one of the hardest and bravest things that people can do. I consider it an honor that my clients ask me to join them on their journey to wellness.
