Aloha! I am certified in Brainspotting (BSP), which is a proven modality that quickly and permanently heals trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, as well as many other issues. I have also been trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), which is a proven modality to help trauma survivors. I have also been trained in art therapy and Neurofeedback. My primary training for being a psychologist was growing up in my own dysfunctional family. After many spiritual groups and a couple years in India with Ram Dass, I finally returned to school to finish my doctorate. I have trained in a number of mind/body therapies (EMDR, Brainspotting, Bioenergetics, Process Acupressure, Somatic Experiencing), since it is my experience that just talking about one’s problems do not usually allow one to make a deep shift.
