My name is Ryannah Tannarome. I welcome teens, adults, and families in my practice. I am passionate about working with individuals struggling with anxiety, trauma, and relational dynamics in a holistic way. I believe that our past experiences, both positive and challenging, shape who we are. When those challenging patterns are stuck and hidden in the subconscious they can run our lives. I pull from politically-leftist, critical psychology as well as humanistic and existentialist frameworks. I center marginalized persons, including BIPOC and LGBTQIA persons. I understand that persons in need of psychotherapy are more than a set of symptoms and diagnoses; our mental health conditions are a complex mixture of ancestral, epigenetic, familial, social and societal histories, issues and dynamics that need to be explored, processed and affirmed in order to improve our condition and functioning.
