I have been a licensed psychologist for over thirty years. I have worked with all kinds of clients in many different settings, including inpatient, residential, rehabilitation, and outpatient settings. In addition, I have taught clinical psychology to doctoral level students as well as supervised many therapists-in-training. Over the years, I have always maintained a private practice. I have seen children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. While I consider myself a seasoned psychologist with a firm grounding in clinical and brain science, my professional stance has always been tempered with a deeply held humanistic orientation.

My clinical interests include treating couples’ issues in transition periods (preparing for marriage, parenthood, or divorce), spiritual or religious issues, depression, anxiety, trauma, and other life transition issues. I use a variety of therapeutic approaches in working with clients and the relationships they have in their lives. Using an integrative change model, I highlight the strengths of different theories to fit the client’s identified needs.
