If you are struggling with addiction or substance abuse, I can help. I understand how painful addiction is, and more importantly, I know that sobriety and recovery are the best routes to a better life. Being present in your life, no matter the circumstances, is the greatest gift you can give to yourself and to the people you love. Addiction is an insidious and lonely disease, but you can get and stay sober. You can live the life you envision. Recovery calls for commitment and it requires support. You can live free of addiction, and you can live in peace.

You can change. I believe this because in my twenty years as a therapist, I've been inspired by the work of my clients to overcome grief, trauma and abuse. My years as a therapist have taught me that we are all resilient, we all have strengths and coping skills. My years as a therapist have also taught me that when we go through a crisis, or a series of crises, our coping skills can get overwhelmed.

Self-love and acceptance is essential to live a healthy fulfilling life. Often times people shut their inner voice due to their experiences and life circumstances, which can cause a negative impact. I help my clients reconnect with their inner self and be in tune with their gut feeling with mindfulness practice approach. It is my goal as a therapist to provide a safe and welcoming environment where we can collaborate together to make the changes and develop new patterns to help you feel better and live a compassionate life. I believe that each individual has the strength and knowledge to reach their full potential.

Before I went to therapy, I felt stuck. Things looked good on paper: I had supportive friends and family, some money, and an impressive resume. But I still felt caught in a cycle. I would get excited about a person, a project, or an idea, and then it would fade. In therapy, I began to realize that I would often get trapped in a big feeling, feel overwhelmed, and move away from it. With the right therapist, I realized that the momentum and goodness in life doesn't come from avoiding hard feelings. It comes from listening and learning from them, difficult as that can be.
