Ultimately, you are here to ask a question: Do I have the courage to acknowledge who I want to become and live my life without limitations?  I specialize in helping individuals to experience an authentic sense of self that they have been missing throughout their lives. Developing greater self-awareness can expand one’s ability to knock down the barriers that prevent us from becoming who we’re meant to be.  Get more curious, step into fear with courage, identify and change the things that are not working, and adopt new behaviors that make life more fulfilling.

Survivor of trauma. Struggling with addiction. Creative. Do at least two of these three describe you? If you're struggling to get sober, you're fearful about the impact sobriety might have on your creativity (and life in general). If you're in early sobriety, you're trying to gain your footing in a new landscape. If you're a trauma survivor, you're confused as to why your insight & sensitivity aren't helping you get to that light at the end of the tunnel. What do you do if your pain is too great to manage on your own?

Hi, I’m Stacey. Whether your child has struggled for a while or has just recently started to exhibit certain behaviors, I know it's never easy to ask for help - which is why I'm so glad you're here. I believe children are always moving towards wholeness but sometimes need help from compassionate and knowledgeable adults. My work with your child will integrate the science of interpersonal neurobiology, child development, trauma-informed care, expressive arts, and play to strengthen the understanding, love, and security between you and your child.

Death is supposed to happen in other people's lives, not in yours. Your world has been thrown upside down now and no matter how hard you try, you just can not turn it right side up. You feel constantly judged for how are you grieving your loss. Some well-meaning friends and family offer unsolicited advise and platitudes. While they genuinely believe they are being helpful, they demonstrate time and again that they just don't get it. While you will never be the same person you were when your loved one was here with you, you can embrace the new you in this new, unwelcome life that you did not ask for.

Finding a good match with a highly skilled and empathetic therapist is the key to lasting change. I am dedicated to assisting people in meeting their challenges in a safe and non-judgmental environment. I help clients realize their strengths so that they can proceed with a sense of empowerment and self-influence. When I enable people to recognize, understand, and shift counterproductive patterns of behavior, they begin to reach their personal goals and lead happier and more satisfying lives.

I work with creatives, professionals, and men. On New York State of Mind, Nas sings, "I never sleep, cause sleep is the cousin of death.” Maybe you too aim for excellence, work hard, and crush goals. But you haven’t found a work-life balance, or your current role is smaller than your aspirations. Or you relate to Propaganda's line “I’m not the artist I’m the canvas” and you create and inspire others through art, music, design, etc. But you are not inspired in daily life. It’s hard to translate that creative process to your personal habits, relationships, coping skills and day to day living.

If you are struggling and feeling stuck in ways that make it difficult to enjoy and be present in your life and in your relationships; if you feel alone, lost, anxious, depressed, overwhelmed and under a lot of stress and want to make changes for yourself, one of my primary goals is to provide you a safe place in which to do this work. You don't have to try to find your way alone. This experience can be a transformative and empowering one for you. Asking for help comes from a place of strength, not of weakness.

I am a clinical psychologist and Co-Director of the OCD & Anxiety Program of Southern California. We are a group of compassionate clinicians who understand how difficult it can be to live with OCD and anxiety disorders. We specialize in providing effective treatment for Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, OC Spectrum Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, and depression. We utilize Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), particularly Exposure and Response Prevention (E/RP), which is considered to be the gold standard for the treatment of anxiety disorders. We also utilize other effective interventions, such as mindfulness and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.

In Network with OPTUM, Optum EAP, Oscar, United Behavioral Health. (online virtual counseling only) When someone is in conflict, some common false beliefs are that my feelings, my worth, and my value come from outside of me, therefore someone else should take care of me. As a result are power struggles in which each person tries to control the other. The way out is to change the system by changing those beliefs. It is only when love becomes appreciation instead of dependence on the other person that this will happen.

As a psychotherapist I work from a compassionate and practical perspective. My work is holistic and includes a creative exploration of the client's life experience, building awareness and mindfulness, reconnecting to the cues the body gives, and reinforcing positive experiences. I help clients to identify undiscovered potential, create change, and work through a myriad of issues. These issues range from depression and anxiety to questions about where to go next in career and, "Why do I keep dating the wrong person?". Clients come to me to work through trauma, eating disorders, substance abuse, low self-esteem, loss of meaning, and relationship issues.

It's not easy to digest raw and painful feelings alone. In therapy, we'll work together to make sense of your fears, dreams, experiences, and relational patterns. I'll help you nurture the compassionate parts of yourself and be curious about how your past lives on in the present. Bit by bit, therapy can help you access and accept more of yourself, courageously face the realities of your life, and experience greater fulfillment in your work and relationships.

You constantly worry about what others are thinking of you. After any social event, you wonder: "Did I say something stupid?" "What if they didn’t like me?" It's exhausting feeling like you have to win everyone over. Your inner critic berates you, creating an ever-present fear of messing up. Attempting to get everything right all the time is draining. You’ve tried to change this pattern, but you still find yourself seeking approval; feeling that you’re not enough. There has to be a way to go through life without the weight of trying to fulfill everyone's expectations–a way to find confidence from within.
