I received my Master's Degree in Direct Practice Social Work from Arizona State University with an emphasis on children and families. I am currently one of many counselors working at Arizona Family Institute. I have had many valuable experiences in working with individuals addressing crisis, abuse, depression, anxiety, tension, neglect, adjustment, addiction, and especially trauma.

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a therapy based on the science of learning and behavior. ABA therapy applies our understanding of how behavior works to real situations. The goal is to increase behaviors that are helpful and decrease behaviors that are harmful or affect learning. Positive reinforcement is one of the main strategies used in ABA.
