I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with 8 years of experience in mental health, working with children, adolescents and adults. I value the story because I believe that stories hold power. It is my job to help my clients find their unique story and the strengths that reside between the lines. Telling a story requires safety as stories sometimes hold the most vulnerable parts of ourselves. I provide a safe, nonjudgmental space for clients to explore those vulnerabilities as they process past trauma as well as current stressors that lead to depression and anxiety.

Judy is dedicated to supporting women aged 28 and older who are navigating the challenges of PTSD, ADHD, trauma, stress, and grief/loss. In her nurturing counseling sessions, clients will have the opportunity to explore and reframe negative beliefs, build essential coping skills, and reprocess past traumas. Judy also guides her clients in developing mindfulness, learning to prioritize their own well-being, improving personal boundaries, and boosting their confidence.

Sometimes we have learned dysfunctional thought processes from the experiences life has provided us. Therapy can be a catalyst in the discovery of creative and viable solutions, or in the personal work toward acceptance. Dr. Folts brings a wealth of experience and training. She has been a faculty member with Maricopa Community Colleges and counseled students, employees and faculty in her work with Arizona State University. Dr Folts' doctoral research included depression, anxiety, chronic/prolonged illness, as well as those facing terminal diagnosis.
