I specialize in guiding individuals and couples through challenging times, addressing issues such as betrayal, trauma, loss, and conflict. I help couples improve communication on topics like parenting, intimacy, and managing life's stressors. Using evidence-based practices, Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT) and the Gottman Method, I empower clients to cultivate stronger, more fulfilling relationships. My approach is encouraging, affirming, and non-judgmental because I believe everyone deserves to be heard and valued on their journey to healing and personal growth.

I believe that all healing starts with developing a sense of connection and empathy with yourself and others. I support clients 18 to 50 years old who desire building the life they always imagined through understanding their drive for change. Each client I connect with seeks to deepen their understanding of self through feedback, cultivates the ability to ask when they want someone to listen and knows that their trauma is not something to be forgotten but a piece within them to be nurtured for rewiring.

Hello! I am accepting new clients. No matter how strong or resilient, there are times in each of our lives when we need some outside help. Whether it's getting out of bed, learning how to set boundaries, fostering self-compassion, changing toxic habits, finding inner calm, processing past or current trauma, or anything in-between, therapy can be a powerful and helpful resource. Your challenges, needs, and goals are likely a combination entirely unique to you, which is why you deserve an individualized and collaboratively created treatment approach as you navigate the often overwhelming process of improving mental health.

It takes a lot of courage to be authentic. I feel strongly that being an authentic version of yourself is one of the most important achievements in life and one of the best tools for successful treatment. I strive to create a positive place free of judgement where a person can feel supported while they work through their trauma and navigate this tough place called life.

Although you’re stepping into therapy, I view therapy as me stepping into your world. It's a collaborative space where we work together to achieve your goals and improve your life and relationships. I'm deeply honored to be invited into this vulnerable space. I don’t take that responsibility lightly! Therapy is an investment, not just for now but for the future. I will work with you to help you build skills and tools that support your current journey and will continue to serve you as you face future challenges.

I know what it is like to feel stuck. The storm inside can cause us to freeze in fear and feel overwhelmed. Moving forward can be like climbing Mt. Everest. You are not alone. Each step moves you forward and I am ready to walk this path with you. Together we can work to not only change the bad but increase the good in your life. You are capable of achieving more than you know. I will believe in you even when you have a hard time believing in yourself.

I believe the therapeutic process should focus on identifying the main root causes that are creating the patterns of challenges that we experience both personally and interpersonally. Once causality is identified, the process then begins working to develop the appropriate therapeutic tools necessary to create change and improve our lives and relationships

I deeply appreciate being able to be a part of the lives of so many amazing people. To work side by side with individuals during the sensitive and vulnerable process of healing is a gift. Within all of us, there is a natural human ability to heal, and we gain confidence when we have access to the right tools that help us to integrate feelings, emotions, experiences, and relationships into something meaningful. I'm a huge fan of tailoring methods and tools to fit individual needs.

My preferred approach with clients comes from my own experience in what really works to heal, recover, and create change. As cliché as it is, I truly believe that “we’ve got to feel it to heal it.” My approach is experiential - and emotion and attachment-focused. This really just means I think some of the best healing happens in our connection with others, starting with working on our relationship with ourselves. I also use curiosity, compassion, and an understanding that every situation is unique to create a personalized approach.

Growing as a family is hard. You want to have it all together but deep down you are struggling to feel confident or cope with the challenging experiences that have occurred in your life. Perhaps you’re a parent who is starting to catch glimpses of your own parents in yourself despite your best attempts to avoid exactly that. Maybe you and your partner keep running into the same issues again and again. Or, maybe you have a creative teen who has been struggling and it's been hard to find a therapist who they can connect with and be real. You just want some relief as you find your way through this phase in life.

All human beings have within themselves the ability to heal and grow; unfortunately, trauma, difficult life events, health problems, unhealthy patterns/habits and/or blocking beliefs can impede growth, happiness and can make living a satisfying life seem impossible. It is possible to work through all this and live the life one wants &/OR discover a satisfying, happy way of living that was never considered possible.

Hello! I specialize in Individual, Marriage and Sex Therapy. As a Marriage and Family Therapist, my focus is on strengthening families by helping couples learn to hear and love each other better. I teach often in session and help couples practice the skills they learn to create new avenues of communication as we process each couple's situation. Premarital counseling is encouraged (these sessions make a great gift for newly weds!) I also work with women's issues and with individuals with sexual health, psychology, function, and relationship concerns.

What is the sense of belonging that many people claim to have, and others have no idea how to acquire? Have ever felt the need to be part of some group or be someone else? I first developed an interest in becoming a therapist when I worked in a drug abuse residential as an aid assistant. As part of my responsibility, I engaged the residents in conversation in the hope of encouraging them to become more involved in their treatment and develop a sense of self. With this experience, I realized that I was able to be empathetic and felt good about minimal accomplishments experienced by residents.
