I come from the Rosebud Lakota people in South Dakota and have lived here in Boise since 1993. Drawing upon my traditional insight and background that is centered on human balance, harmony, and inner peace by way of connecting the circle of past, present, and future. As a trauma-informed counselor, I focus on supporting adults and adolescents through various challenges including depression, anxiety, PTSD, relationship issues, identity exploration, life transitions, and stress/burnout. I believe in each individual's ability to navigate life's complexities using their inherent strengths and resilience. My goal is to empower clients through increasing emotional awareness, cultivating inner harmony, and embracing authentic living.

Making the decision to reach out to a counselor is a big step. I am passionate about helping individuals understand and overcome personal challenges in a safe, supportive and collaborative space. I have been working in the counseling field for 12+ years. The experience of living in different countries has shaped my worldview by respecting and integrating each individual’s culture and values. I relocated to Idaho in 2019 and obtained my Master’s in Counseling from Northwest Nazarene University in 2023. I am passionate about serving the Latinx community as a bilingual counselor and also welcome all backgrounds and identities.

Clients who are struggling with living their best lives find connection and healing in my practice. I have a special strength in working with people who are neurodivergent to help them learn to drop the mask and live a more authentic life, as well as cope with, process, and adjust their lives to better fit their needs. I am EMDR trained. My other specialties include helping adolescents, teens, and adults work through trauma (sexual trauma is a special strength), working with highly intelligent individuals, as well as solution-focused work regarding a specific problem.
