I was honored to be named Social Worker of the Year in 2024 by the Colorado Chapter of the National Association of Social Workers. In my practice, I provide a safe and nurturing environment for individuals facing various challenges and life transitions. I believe in working collaboratively with my clients and empowering them to make intentional changes in their lives. My approach is rooted in the belief that each individual holds the key to creating the positive changes they seek. My practice is based on a strengths-based, trauma-informed, humanistic, and person-centered approach. I place great value on evidence-based treatment.

In the past three years, I have worked as a counselor to both children and to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. As a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate I use modalities, such as HearthMath, Brainspotting and Trauma Focused-CBT, that help to reduce anxiety, depression, and aids them in finding strength within themselves.

Ute Pass Eval focuses on clinical, forensic, and neuropsychological testing and assessments. We offer forensic, education/academic achievement, intelligence, personality, psychodiagnostic, and other specialized psychological assessment services. We are equipped to assess children and adults of all ages and can travel to jails/prisons. Willing to provide Telehealth, meet in my office, or meet the patient where they live.

I am skilled at treating clients who are experiencing emotional and behavioral problems as a result of trauma, stress and interpersonal conflict. Clients struggling with addictions, poor self-esteem, depression, anxiety, self-defeating behaviors, and impulse control problems will find my services helpful. I appreciate clients who may not yet have identified their goals as I like the challenge of developing goals with my clients and seeing them grow and progress over the course of therapy.

Sometimes, we find ourselves buried under challenging life circumstances. I love coming alongside clients who feel they are without hope, and helping them find their inner strengths to emerge resilient. I have experience working with trauma, grief, PTSD, pain management, postpartum depression, chronic medical conditions, OCD, substance use, ADHD, depression, anxiety, bi-polar, and marriage and family issues.

I specialize in helping parents and children understand the meaning and purpose behind those behaviors. I help children build the resiliency they need to overcome past challenges and thrive at home, in school and in their communities. I also help parents/caregivers build the skills and strategies necessary to guide children through difficult circumstances and achieve a more positive future.
