I enjoy working with people of all ages and experiences, though I have particular insight into challenges more specific to women including body image, self-criticism, anxiety, perfectionisms, depression, shame, parenting, relationships, sex, and boundaries. Mental health is about holding balances in one's life, and at the core, restoring loving compassion for one's self. As a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT), I have a heart for working with adults seeking recovery from sex and porn addiction. Notably, porn addiction has accelerated over the last 20 years because of the Internet. Typically, sex and porn addicts also experience compulsivity regarding drug and alcohol use. Fundamentally, people use sex or drugs to medicate against anxiety and depression resulting from traumas.

Reaching out for help is overwhelming. Not knowing if you’re going to find someone who fits what you need. Not knowing what the therapy process is like.
